This is a very strong and interesting image. It's unusual to see a direct side view. That and it's simplicity and flatness are reminiscent of Cretan or Mayan or Egyptian art, and are equally contemporary.
It's also unusual to see a pencil image that has no black in it. I applaud you for this. When you have the confidence to do line work in color it truly broadens your expressive palette. (Not that there's anything wrong with using black, but it's often just a habit.)
It would be nice to see a series of this kind of work, whether self portraits of portraits of your friends and/or family members. You have a good eye for flattening and stylizing your subject in a highly personalized way.
This is a creative view to do for a self portrait. The choice of red and blue is a good choice too and would be really neat to see the shading of the portrait done in those colors.
