Art portfolio for schools

Here are pieces from my admissions portfolio for school. The pieces are arranged by number, and descriptions are as follows:
1) This is part of one of many ink-and-graphite studies that I have done in my sketchbook, in which I create the same image both in graphite and in ink.
2) This is the graphite image corresponding to image #1. The persons depicted in these two pieces are Gerard and Mikey Way.
3) This is part of another graphite-and-ink study that I did in my sketchbook. With these studies, I intend to show the sharp contrast that ink and graphite create in the same image.
4) This is the graphite image that corresponds to image #3. Creating the same image in both graphite and ink show the sharp contrast between the two media, graphite showing more detail than ink. The persons depicted in this image are Gerard and Lindsey Way.
5) This is a self portrait done in graphite. In this particular image, I have drawn myself as I appear reflected off of my aviator sunglasses, with my pencil and kneaded eraser nearby.
6) This picture, done in gouache, is part of a lesson we covered in my art class. This lesson is associated with artist Betty Edwards, and is referred to as "Drawing with the Right Side of the Brain". In this assignment, we were to draw an open door, and everything in front and beyond it.
7) This image is also part of the Betty Edwards study. Done in charcoal, the assignment was to draw a chair from observation.
8) This drawing was my first experience with pop art. When I took art lessons outside of school, I did a brief study of Andy Warhol and his works, and was to complete works in his style. This piece is done in acrylic paint and utilized block shading to depict an image of Marilyn Monroe.
9) This drawing was one that I did on my own time in my sketchbook. The girl and puppy depicted are part of a children's picture book style story that I have created. The media used are ink and watercolor.
10) This is part 1 of a 2 part study I did for drawing hands. Done in graphite, this depicts my hand holding a pencil as drawn from observation.
11) This is part 2 of the 2 part hand study that I did. Also in graphite, this depicts a statue of a hand holding a block drawn from observation.
12) This is a still life of a guitar and fruit that I did during a portfolio preparation seminar I did during the summer before my senior year. This piece is done in oil pastels.
13) This is also a still life that I created during the same portfolio preparation seminar. This is of a blue glass bottle and fruit, depicted in watercolor.
14) This is part of another ink-and-graphite study that I did. This was the first time that I had done this, as shown how my technique evolved over time.
15) This is the graphite part that corresponds with image #14. This drawing was displayed at an art show in Grand Central Terminal in Buffalo, NY on June 5-6, 2010. It also appeared in the City Honors School yearbook for 2010.
16) This piece was done at the summer portfolio preparation seminar that I took. I used charcoal as a medium, and drew a piece of cloth from observation as it was draped over a piece of cardboard resting on a chair.
17) This is another Andy Warhol-inspired drawing that I did. In this piece, I made each of the four parts a different bright color. The medium used is ink. The persons depicted are Chantal Claret and James Euringer.
18) This is a photograph I took when my family and I visited France in the spring of 2010. This particular picture was taken when we visited Epirnay, the champagne region of France.
19) This piece was part of a study my art class did on the works of Charles Burchfield. Using acrylic paint instead of the original watercolor, I depicted one of his works.
20) This drawing was one that I did at the summer portfolio preparation seminar. We did a study on blind contour drawing. We were each given a mirror and asked to depict ourselves without looking down at our paper. The medium I used was ink.
21) This piece was also one that I did at the summer portfolio preparation seminar. This piece was created from observing a model of a skull, and then adding abstract features to it. The medium used is oil pastel.
22) This photograph was taken at a concert for the band A.F.I. in October of 2009 at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY. The persons depicted are Davey Havok and Hunter Burgan.
